Mick Holsbeke is a clown with a ferocious appetite for the ridiculous! Raised on the beaches of South Florida, just outside the Everglades swamps, Mick spent the bulk of his childhood skateboarding in skateparks and canoeing in flip flops before deciding to pursue a life of juggling, circus, and performance art.

Mick’s new perspective on clowning, exuberant physical acting, and circus expertise were developed at the School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts in Seattle, and further deepened in the three year professional program at the prestigious l’École Nationale de Cirque de Montréal.

A recipient of the Comedy Prize from the Festival Sol y Circo in Germany, and the Prix du Cirque Eloize and Prix Telemondis from the Festival Mondiale du Cirque de Demain of 2012 in Paris. Mick has performed with companies such as the 7 Fingers, G.O.P. Variete Shows, Palazzo Colombino of Freiburg, Festival Polo Circo in Argentina, Circus Monti in Switzerland, and many more.

Versatile, comic, and highly creative, Mick currently works as a performer, coach, collaborator, and general havoc raiser in projects throughout the world.
